Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?

Lutheran Music uses 128-bit encryption for all credit card transactions on our site. This is the highest level of security available for internet commerce. Our credit card service provider is PayPal, a well-known and respected electronic transaction processing company. We never provide any of our customer's data to anyone for any purpose, and we have never had a security incident at our site.

I don't have a PayPal account, can I still use my credit card?

Yes, you can use your credit card to order without opening a PayPal account. If you desire, you may create a new PayPal account, but this is not required to place an order.

Can I place an order and be billed later?

No, our business systems allows only two methods of ordering 1) PayPal, or 2) credit card using PayPal service (you do not need a PayPal account to use a credit card).

Can I order more than one item at a time?

No. Our business systems only allow ordering a single item for each PayPal transaction. To order mutliple items simply repeat the PayPal ordering process for each item. Our web site does not support the "Shopping Cart" concept available on some eCommerce sites.

How quickly are orders delivered?

Your order will be processed as soon as your PayPal payment is accepted. Most orders will immediately receive download instructions on a web page. We will acknowledge your order by email (usually within 1‑3 days), as a backup to the immediate web access.

Does Lutheran Music accept international orders?

We accept international orders for items that can be delivered (downloaded) using the internet. We only accept payments in U.S. dollars.

Is music available for the liturgies?

At the present time there is no music available for the liturgies or orders of service in the hymnals. Liturgies are generally copyright restricted material and Lutheran Music does not have a license for distribution.

Can I share the computer files with my friends and other congregations?

Due to copyright restrictions, the files may be installed on one computer only for the personal use of the original purchaser. Additional copies of the files may be made for backup purposes only. Printed copies of the PDFs (including books and single sheets) may be made for the personal use of the original purchaser only. The materials may be freely used to support worship services of the orginal purchaser's congregation. See Copyrights for more information.

Can video files be embedded in PowerPoint presentations?

Yes, the "Sing-Along" hymn music and synchronized lyrics video files in the Video Library can be embedded inside a PowerPoint presentation, thus allowing an entire worship service to be sequenced using PowerPoint. We use MPEG‑4 (mp4) format video files. You can discover how to embed them by searching the web using Google. The instructions for PowerPoint 2003 and PowerPoint 2007 are different, so click on the appropriate link for your system to search Google for the embedding instructions.
